   Blackford Design, Canadian small business and wearable art clothing brand, was founded in 1988 by Stephanie Blackford, owner, artist and maker.
       All of the wearable art clothing creations made by Blackford Design are meticulously hand crafted by Stephanie Blackford, a skilled artist who exclusively works on them in her studio located in Qualicum Beach, B.C.
      Stephanie Blackford's inspiration is drawn from the stunning natural landscapes that surround Vancouver Island, serving as a catalyst for her creative process. The vibrant colours, unique textures, and fibres found in nature form the fundamental elements that go into all of her wearable art creations.
